NRM’s Muwonge rallies youths to vote for him in Kayunga LC5 race

Monday 6th December 2021

The NRM flag bearer in the Kayunga district LC5 race, Andrew Muwonge has asked youths in the district to put aside their political differences to vote for him to ensure service delivery.

Muwonge, who was combing villages in Busaana sub-county in Ntenjeru North Constituency told voters that the key issue is service delivery.

“I am the best candidate in the race since I am not coming from any of those camps that have stagnated the development of our district. This is a rare opportunity for the people of Kayunga to vote one of their own who knows every corner of the district and issues affecting people,” Muwonge said.

Flanked by a swarm of youths led by Boda Boda riders, Muwonge traversed several villages in the sub-county as he asked voters to choose wisely their next LC5 chairman.

Muwonge told the people that it is high time they ignored political affiliations but voted for someone who will ensure unity of all people but above all extend services to people.

“What Kayunga is looking for is someone who will work for his people by extending services to them. It would not be wise to vote for someone who will oppose everything that the central government intends to do for the district.”

“Vote for a person who says the truth and will always stand for the truth. That person is Muwonge Andrew a son of the soil.”

The NRM flag bearer later watched a football match between Nabusaala Football Club and Busaana Football Club at Nabusaala playgrounds.

He urged youths not to be hoodwinked by opposition politicians but to vote for someone who will front their issues.

Muwonge was also escorted by NRM party officials led by the director for communication, Emmanuel Dombo and those from the Office of the NRM national chairman led by Ronald Katende.

The NRM flag bearer will tomorrow continue with his program of canvassing for votes in a bid to win the Kayunga LC5 seat in a by-election set for 16th December.
