The Independent Electoral Commission Returning Officer for Kasese District, Mr. Ismail Atwijukire, has this morning declared our Flagbearer, Mr. Thembo Gideon Mujungu, dully nominated to contest for the #BusongoraSouthByElection.
The Party's 1st National Vice Chairperson, Rt. Hon. Alhajji Moses Kigongo, the NRM District Chairman, Hon. Crispus Kiyonga, Hon. Emmanuel Dombo, the party's Director for Communications, and Counsel Oscar Kihika( Director Legal), were among the big team that accompanied Mr. Mujungu for his nomination at the Kasese District Electoral Commission offices.
At a press conference shortly after his nomination, Mr. Mujungu expressed gratitude for holding the party flag and promised a resounding victory.
Presenting our flagbearer to the media, Alhajji Kigongo urged the people of Busongora South Constituency to trust Hon Mujungu with their vote because he will be the catalyst for effective service delivery.
As I present our candidate, I appeal to you, the people of Busongora South, to trust your vote with the movement candidate because he will be the link that will connect you to the central government for effective service delivery," Alhajji Kigongo said.
Accompanied by the party officials, the candidate will address his nomination rally at Kigoro primary school in Rukoki Sub-county.
Voting is slated for August 18th, 2022.
