Hon Lugoolobi rallies Kayunga to vote for NRM’s Muwonge in LC5 race

Tuesday 7th December 2021

The Ntenjeru North Member of Parliament, also State Minister for Finance, Hon. Amos Lugoloobi rallied the people of Kayunga to vote for the NRM flag bearer in the LC5 race, Andrew Muwonge.

“Just like you did for the presidential race, I ask you to continue supporting NRM and its candidates. Leave those telling you lies.  Don’t get excited over anything. The person to vote for is Andrew Muwonge,” Lugoloobi said.

Lugoloobi was addressing several village meetings while campaigning for the NRM flag bearer in the LC5 race.

The Ntenjeru North Member of Parliament told the voters that the only way to ensure proper service delivery in the district is if they vote for Muwonge.

Speaking during the same scientific meetings, Muwonge reiterated the need for Kayunga to have a home-grown person as the district chairman.

He explained that having been born and grown up in Kayunga, he is better placed to understand and diagnose all problems affecting the people.

“I am not here to stand for religion or tribe but to unite all people in this district. Let us not look at the political differences but vote for a person who will take forward the district. We can only take Kayunga forward by voting Muwonge. This time round we shouldn’t let this chance pass,” Muwonge said.

Speaking directly to youths who were keenly listening to him, Muwonge told them that being the same age as them makes him the best candidate to listen to their problems if voted into office.

He noted that issues like unemployment that mainly affect youths will be top on his agenda if elected as the new Kayunga district LC5 chairman.

The NRM candidate also traversed several other villages in Kayunga sub-county, Ntenjeru North constituency asking voters to make the right decision and vote for him in the forthcoming 16th December by-election.

Muwonge was accompanied by several NRM leaders as he combed for votes.
