Guinea coup leaders are agents set out to destabilise Africa – Museveni

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has reiterated his stand, condemning the coup earlier this month that deposed the leader of Guinea, Alpha Conde. In a statement released Friday afternoon, the NRM party chairman has said the recent coups in Africa need to be evaluated to establish if they are ideologically oriented or simply carried out due to influence from external players. 
Mr Museveni, who boasts of participating in a number of revolutions across the continent, says that African freedom fighters need to take a common stand against coup plotters.
