Aloet Ward Residents Present Their Concerns To Hon. Herbert Edmund Ariko

Our flagbearer for the Soroti City East Constituency, Hon Herbert Edmund Ariko, spent the better part of the day consulting with the residents of Aloet Ward on the forthcoming by-elections.

Hon Ariko who was accompanied by our Director for Mobilisation, Hon Rosemary Nansubuga Seninde, met with the people of Ajikidak, Adoopale, Aloet primary school and Akum B Cells, all in Aloet Ward.

"We're consulting the local community to understand the key issues that will pertain to the by-election and the strategies of which we members of NRM will come out victorious," Hon Ariko commented during one of the meetings.

On her part, Hon Seninde assured the people of peace during the by-elections and also urged them to exercise restraint when faced by confrontation from the opponent's side.

"The by-election is going to be very peaceful. We shall no allow anyone to cause harvoc. There will be security in place to protect the peole from violence." Seninde said.

Nominations for the Soroti City East byelections will be held from the 18th to the 19th of July, 2022. the polling day has also been set for the 28th of July, 2022.
