The people of Dokolo are all eager and excited as they prepare to receive tomorrow Tuesday 19th March, the NRM National chairman and President Yoweri Museveni in the district. The NRM Secretary General, Rt. Hon. Richard Todwong revealed as he addressed the press today evening.
Todwong said the President will be in the district to campaign for the party flag bearer in the Dokolo By-election, Janet Adongo Rose Elau ahead of voting this week on Thursday 21st.
“He will address the first rally at Amatiburu Primary School in Okwangodul sub county before heading to Atabu Primary School in Amwoma Sub County for his second rally,” Todwong said.
Mr. Museveni is expected to guide the local leadership on key issues and also highlight the key government achievements that have been registered in the district.
The Chairman's visit to Dokolo follows a 6-days marathon of campaigns that have been spearheaded by party leaders that include Hon. Rosemary Nansubuga Seninde the Director for Mobilization, Dokolo south MP Felix Okot Ogong, among other leaders.
Earlier today, Adongo traversed Agwata Sub County, Dokolo Sub-county and Dokolo Town council as she concluded her day 5 of her campaign period.
Adongo is tussling it out with other six opponents in the race.
