The Chinese Ambassador to Uganda, H.E. Zhang Lizhong, has this morning paid a courtesy call on the NRM Secretary General, Rt. Hon. Richard Todwong, at the party headquarters in Nakasero, Kampala.
The envoy also briefed Rt. Hon. Todwong on the upcoming visit of the delegation of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (IDCPC) to Uganda led by their Vice Minister, Mr. Li Mingxiang.
During their visit, the high-power delegation is expected to, among others, meet with President Yoweri Museveni, who is also the NRM National Chairman.
Mr. Todwong was in the company of Counsel Awich Pollar, the NRM director for external affairs.
