The NRM Secretary-General, Rt.Hon. Richard Todwong, has this Tuesday morning hosted the Ambassador of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, H.E. Salek Sghair Radhi, at the party headquarters in Nakasero, Kampala.
SG Todwong, who was in the company of party Director for External Affairs, Counsel Awich Pollar, revealed that the meeting with the Sahrawi envoy centered on improving the bilateral relations between the two states, adding that, the NRM party is committed to supporting the right of self-determination of the Sahrawi people.
Counsel Awich said the Sahwari political movement, POLISARIO, extended an invitation to the NRM leaders as the front marks 50 years of the struggle to full independence.
