NRM Second National Vice Chairperson mourns Sheikh Muzaata

The NRM national Second Vice Chairperson Hon. Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga has eulogized Sheikh Nuuhu Muzaata who died on Friday as a good person.

“I want to take this opportunity on behalf of Parliament and the people of Busoga to extend sincere condolences to the family of Sheikh Muzaata,”Hon Kadaga said during a meeting of NRM party leaders of Kamuli and Buyende in Kamuli on Saturday. 

She added: “He has been an icon in the Muslim community, very visible and an interesting person.”

Ms Kadaga, also the Speaker of Parliament of Uganda, took the opportunity to remind members of the public to adhere to the Coronavirus guidelines put in place by the Ministry of Health, including washing of hands, sanitizing and wearing of face masks.

In his meetings, the NRM presidential flag bearer, President Yoweri Museveni has time and again  emphasized adherence to Covid-19 guidelines and to ensure adherence to the same, he has addressed scientific meetings with selected NRM party leaders and flag bearers instead of the usual mass rallies.
