NRM leaders assess progress ahead of Tuesday swearing in

The NRM National Treasurer, Amb. Barbara Nekesa Oundo, accompanied by top management leaders and staff of the National Resistance Movement, today toured a number of designated holding venues for the party’s invited guests ahead of the Presidential Inauguration of H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, scheduled for Tuesday, 12th next week.

The guests will first be received and coordinated at these venues before proceeding to the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds, where the official swearing-in ceremony will take place.

During the inspection tour, Amb. Nekesa, alongside party principals and officials, interacted with coordinators at the various venues and service providers to assess the level of preparedness and ensure that all logistical arrangements are completed in time ahead of the next inspection visit. The exercise is aimed at guaranteeing the smooth and successful management of the prestigious national event, from the reception and coordination of guests to the conclusion of the ceremony.

The Party Presidential Inauguration Organising Committee, working closely with the National Organising Committee from government, continues to coordinate preparations to ensure the successful conduct of the Presidential Inauguration Ceremony.
