NRM adopts village based mobilization

While addressing the media on the weekly  press conference, the NRM National Treasurer, Hon. Namayanja Rose Nsereko updated them on the progress of the campaigns and the new campaign strategy. So far, the president has covered 67 districts out 146 districts in a period of two weeks.

The NRM has now adopted a village based mobilization so as to avoid crowds as per the Ministry of Health SOPs. The meetings started yesterday with the regional briefings and on Monday, there will be meetings in different districts to mobilize the voters. NRM as a party intends to get done with village based mobilization in a week’s time. The village committee will do a door to door campaigns while ensuring the SOPs.

“As a party, we are concerned about the health of all citizens and we cry out to them to follow the SOPs and always wear their masks. I also appeal to Ugandans to put their lives first and take care of themselves.” Hon. Namayanja Rose reminded Ugandans

In these meetings, the Task Force is to remind the voters about the core principles and the attributes of NRM and also the role the NRM party plays in ensuring the country’s economy. The National Task Force is a 12 member committee chaired by the Party’s chairperson H.E Y.K Museveni.

The Task Force will play a role in providing guidance during the campaign period as the village committee do the mobilization in their respective villages.

The National Treasurer also congratulated the Kabaka Ronald Mutebi upon his 65th birthday and the Kabaka run.
