The NRM Deputy Secretary General, Rt Hon. Namayanja Rose Nsereko, briefed security at party headquarters today ahead of tomorrow's launch of the NRM membership register update by President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. Gen. Museveni is also the NRM National Chairman.
The meeting was comprised of officers from the Uganda Police, UPDF, SFC, ISO, ESO, CMI, Crime Intelligence, and other security agencies.
During the briefing, Rt. Hon. Namayanja provided a detailed overview of the sequence of events leading up to the launch, emphasising the critical role each security agency plays in ensuring the success and security of the registration process.
She also highlighted the importance of a collaborative effort to maintain order and address any potential challenges that may arise during the exercise.
